Stanley Campbell, also known as Cam Mtenzi, is a prominent community activist, humanitarian, and leader in Memphis, TN, and beyond. With a deep passion for his city and a heart for the community, Campbell has dedicated his life to uplifting others and building a network of support for those in need.
His advocacy extends far beyond the borders of Memphis, reaching communities across several states, including Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, California, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and even internationally to Cairo, Egypt, and South Africa. Through organizing numerous events and initiatives, Campbell has been a tireless advocate for inner-city youth, homeless individuals, women, veterans, and various marginalized groups.
A testament to his commitment and impact, Campbell has received numerous awards and recognitions over the years, including consecutive Honorary Operation Stand Down Military Veteran Awards, the Leadership Memphis Award, the Memphis City Council Meritorious Award, and the Linda Faye Cancer Awareness Non-profit Award, among others. He was even granted the key to the city of Selma, Alabama in 2023.
In 1989, Campbell established the prestigious Stone "Eben" Awards Gala, honoring community activists, leaders, and philanthropists who have made significant contributions to building stronger communities worldwide. Additionally, he spearheaded the Rise of 300 Moral Leaders movement, aimed at fostering moral transformation and unity within society.
